Rockman has been serving the renewable energy segment right from 2015. We have been making mainly glass prepreg-based & also carbon prepreg-based components viz., wind turbine blades, winglets & solar panel back panels. The longest wind turbine blade made by us of glass fiber-based Prepreg was 7.3m.
We have been co-developing various types of wind turbine blades/winglets with a UK-based wind energy company, manufacturing more than 8 varieties of blade types to date. We have also been supplying solar panel back panels made out of glass fiber to one of the American-based solar panel manufacturers. Below is the list of the types of components supplied by us.
- 2 metre, high efficiency and quieter blades for use in residential areas
- Material selection, laminate by RAC. Carbon and Glass fabricepoxy
- Aluminium tooling. Two parts bonded. 0.5mm thickness trailing edges.
