Mr. Suman Kant Munjal Chairman

Mr. Suman Kant Munjal is Chairman of Rockman Industries Limited, one of the oldest Hero group company – manufacturing automotive components for some of the marquee auto companies. He also chairs newly formed company and group’s first venture into Electronics- “Hero Electronix Pvt Ltd”. He is an acclaimed leader and an internationally trained expert in business and production management. He has been instrumental in transforming Rockman industries, into aleading player in the die casting industry in India. He is actively involved in philanthropic and CSR activities. He also serves as Director on the board of other group companies such as Hero Moto Corp, Hero Corporate Service, Hero Steels Limited, Hero Future Energies, BML Educorp (a not-for-profit university initiative by the Hero Group).

A wealth of experience in the design and production of composites gained from a 30 year pluscareer mainly in Motorsports. Having held a number of positions from Technician to ChiefEngineer, at Moldex Ian Thomson is responsible for Manufacturing, Material selection andproduction processes. He has worked with Williams GP Eng, Ferrari F1, Sauber/Mercedes-Benz, Sauber Motorsport, Prost GP, Asiatech, Renault F1, Super Aguri F1, Peugeot Sport. Composite companies Comtec, DTC, Retrac Composites and the world leading automotive consultants Dallara Automobili.

Dr. Robert Neumann

A Specialist in design and calculation, holding a PhD in composite materials with a background in the prediction of the behaviour of composite parts. Dr. Robert oversees the design of composite parts and tooling at Moldex. He has worked in Formula 1 for the last 15 years with teams including Arrows, Toyota F1, Super Aguri F1, Dallara Automobili, Brawn GP World champions 2009 and Mercedes GP. Alongside Moldex Composites he consults to a variety of motorsport and composite projects.

Mr. Ujjwal Munjal, an astute leader and a business builder did his BBA in international management from Pepperdine University, California. He currently serves as Managing Director at one of the oldest company of the Hero group, Rockman Industries. He has been instrumental in growing Rockman many folds in the last 10 years. Mr. Ujjwal is also responsible for the Hero group’s latest foray into electronics industry, “Hero Electronix”. He aims to transform Hero Electronix into a billion dollar global digital products and solutions enterprise within the next 5 to 7 years. His dynamism and ability to think new & different while expanding business horizontally and vertically, will certainly help Moldex attaining newer heights.

Mrs. Manorama Nagarajan is the CFO of Rockman Industries Ltd. In this capacity, she oversees finance, strategy and IT functions across the Rockman group. A fellow member of ICMA and an MBA, in her overall career spanning over 30 years, she has served various companies on areas such as strategic planning, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, Project funding, costing etc. She has also handled JVs, M&A, Equity funding etc. IT and systems are her strength areas and she has designed and implemented Companywide ERP in almost all these companies.

Mr. Amit Vijay is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT- Varanasi and an MBA from AIM, Philippines. He started his career with Tata Motors and served various MNCs like Cognizant and JCB before joining Rockman Industries to lead their Strategy Function. He has more than 16 years of versatile experience across Business Strategy, Business Development/Diversification, Joint Ventures, Partnerships, Mergers & Acquisitions, Marketing, Public Relations, Corporate Performance Management, Business Process Improvement and Management Consulting etc. During his tenure at Rockman, he has been actively involved in multiple diversification initiatives for the group and played a key role in entry of Hero Group in Electronics and Composites field. His techno-commercial knowledge combined with leadership skills would act as a fuel to Moldex’s growth aspirations.

He has a played a vital role in developing Moldex’s revenue and customer diversification strategies which have facilitated in our tremendous growth since inception. He has also successfully built and runs a company producing low Carbon Ferro Alloys for the Domestic as well as global markets.
